Yesterday Arcimoto celebrated the grand opening of our new manufacturing facility, the RAMP. Our huge and heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the trip out to Eugene, some from across the globe, and all who joined us virtually via the livestream. If you missed it, you can watch the main presentation here:
The RAMP encompasses approximately 250,000 square feet under roof on more than 10 acres in Eugene, Oregon. More than five times as large as Arcimoto’s first manufacturing facility, the RAMP is key to the mass production of Arcimoto’s ultra-efficient electric vehicles.
Highlights of the show include the introduction of the Faction D1 driverless delivery vehicle; an update on new accessories and doors; the unveiling of the Smokejumper initiative, a multi-company, multi-platform approach to fighting fires; and the upcoming Mean Lean Machine (MLM).
The MLM is a first-of-its-kind three-wheel tilting e-trike based on our patented tilting technology. Powered by three hub motors and a pedal generator with no chain, no belt, and no grease, the Mean Lean Machine is a three-wheeled electric ride unlike any other. We aim to launch the MLM late this year. If you want to be first in line, you can preorder now at Arcimoto.com/MLM.
Specifications, pricing, features, and accessories will be released in the coming months. You can view the version 2 Mean Lean Machine prototype in action here:
Since the very beginning, Arcimoto has been powered by our friends, our customers, our investors, and our partners with whom we share the vision of a truly sustainable transportation system. None of this would be possible without your support. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
Take care, and see you on the road!
Team Arcimoto
