Thank You Arcimoto
Editor's Note: We don't often have the opportunity to allow guest bloggers to express their thoughts on our site, but when Nathan Fillion sent us the following thank you letter in an email and requested we share it with the class, we figured it was just such an opportunity.
I have been looking for you. I drive less than twenty miles to work. I rarely, very rarely, have more than two people in my car. So often, it's only me. Admittedly, my last car seated eight, which came in handy twice in the eight years I owned it.
Recently, the fact dawned on me that I pay oil companies to carry their finite, explosive, poisonous fuel just to burn it into another form of poison and pollution. I'm not an idiot, I know that car and oil companies are not bound to work for the best interests of people; they are in the business of making money. We've all replaced components of our vehicles, our engines, because they are designed to be replaced. Fuel efficiency could be phenomenal, but instead has stagnated. I'm tired of someone else controlling my choices. I don't want another car. I don't NEED another car. I need what comes next.
I need a small vehicle, just for me to get to work in. I need a vehicle that uses cleaner energy. I need a more efficient vehicle. I need a practical vehicle, but I don't want to sacrifice speed, power, or cool factor. I need a Pulse.
Thank you for what you are doing. Thank you for simply seeing the need and taking it upon yourselves to fulfill it.
The future I've been waiting for is here, and I can't wait to get it.
