If is was to place an order for one and used a bank for financing, what should I tell them I'm interested in using their money for?
A motorcycle or a automobile...

Most bank lending is in line with conventional auto loans, which may not be appilicable in this case.

Since this is considered a mototcycle in some states, do you have any information on road worthyness certifications information for South Carolina?

Hi Dave,

I would tell any lending institution that you are purchasing a 3-wheeled electric vehicle. We've actually identified some banks local to Oregon who are excited about consumer financing for this vehicle, specifically Umpqua Bank and The Lending Outlet (a division of SELCO credit union).

One customer told me he called up his local credit union (Oregon Community Credit Union) and was told they'd be happy to finance the vehicle before anyone from Arcimoto even got a chance to contact OCCU. In other words, the financing process doesn't seem to be getting in the way for a number of current customers. However, if you find that you need more information or that your local credit union/lending institution needs more info, please let us know and we'd be happy to either help you or contact your credit union with more information.

As for the road worthiness, we are currently taking pre-orders for California, Oregon, and Washington. Our goal is to begin selling to all states in the U.S. as soon as possible. What this means is that right now, I am not sure if the Arcimoto Pulse adheres to the regulations in your state. Stay tuned though, we're moving pretty fast! Our plan is to be able to sell vehicles in all states once we begin production (Summer 2010).

Has Arcimoto contacted First Tech Credit Union in Beaverton yet? They've always given me and my wife great rates on auto loans, but I don't know the first thing about how they would handle something like the Pulse. Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the suggestion of First Tech Credit Union. I've passed it onto our marketing team, but the best thing would be for you to contact them and see what they say about financing a three wheel electric vehicle. Let me know what they say!
